日前透露將在印度地區推行僅限行動裝置使用的低資費訂閱方案後，Netflix正式在印度市場宣布推出全新資費方案，將以199盧比 (約2.8美元或新台幣90元)價格計費，同時僅限在單一裝置使用，並且只能在手機或平板裝置以480P畫質串流播放。

先前為了吸引更多用戶加入使用，Netflix已經針對網路使用資源較不充裕的地區提供離線下載播放，以及針對網路串流播放流量最佳化，讓使用者能以更少網路流量觀看內容，後續也將此類功能、技術擴展到其他市場，並且獲得用戶好評。
此次針對印度市場推行低畫質、僅限單一裝置使用的低資費方案，顯然是針對低網路流量、以手機為主的使用體驗打造。
