原來要成功說服他人，不僅要提出有力證據，更要用對方法才能將對方的質疑各個擊破、改變他們原先看法！但除了這些，講話方式也很重要。有些人講話條理清晰，讓人很能聽得進去，有些人講話卻愛東拉西扯，讓人聽得超級不耐煩。不同說話風格英文怎麼形容？一起看看吧！
◎ 怎麼用英文形容「能言善道」？
Persuasive 跟 eloquent 都可以用來形容「能言善道」，但兩個詞的偏重面向不同：
persuasive 說話很能讓人信服、很有說服力
He’s the most persuasive fortune-teller I’ve ever met. I felt as if he could read my mind! （他是我遇過最有說服力的算命師。我覺得他彷彿能看穿我的心思！）
eloquent 口才很好、善於言詞，能清楚有力地表達訊息或想法
The speaker is so eloquent that everyone in the audience was moved.（這位講者口才很好，打動了現場每一位觀眾。）
◎ 怎麼用英文形容「囉哩叭唆」？
如果要形容一個人很健談，或是話很多、愛說話，可以用 talkative 這個詞。
talkative 話多的、健談的
The taxi driver is very talkative; he talked all the way as he drove us to the hotel. （這位計程車司機非常健談；他載我們去飯店的一路上都在說。）
不過除了形容詞 talkative，英文還有不少動詞能生動地形容一個人沒完沒了、講個不停喔！
blabber 煩人地喋喋不休
babble 興奮而飛快地說個沒完，讓人難以理解
ramble 講話沒重點卻一直說
When I first met Joseph, he kept babbling about his family, his colleague, and even the dog he adopted 15 years ago. （我第一次遇見 Joseph 的時候，他興奮地嘰嘰喳喳說個不停，說到他的家人、他的同事，甚至說到他 15 年前領養的那隻狗。）
◎ 怎麼用英文形容「直言不諱」？
Outspoken 跟 candid 都能用來形容一個人「直言不諱」，但直白說出的事情不太一樣：
outspoken 直接說出自己想法，不管他人怎麼想
The outspoken critic has offended many people, but he doesn't seem to care much.（這名直言不諱的評論家得罪了不少人，但他似乎不怎麼在意。）
candid 誠實告知事實，即使是不好的消息
I hope you could be candid about the trouble we ran into.（我希望你能誠實告知我們遇上的麻煩。）
◎ 怎麼用英文形容「彎彎繞繞」？
要形容講話不直接，可以用下列兩個表達法。其中，beat around the bush 更為常見。
beat around the bush 兜圈子、拐彎抹角
Don't beat around the bush! Just say what you mean.（別兜圈子了！說你真正想表達的。）
talk / speak in riddles 打啞謎、說話莫名其妙
I'm running out of patience. Could you please stop speaking in riddles and tell me what's on your mind?（我的耐心快用光了。可以拜託你別再打啞謎，直接告訴我你在想什麼嗎？）
