蘋果原廠出了雙向功能的 Thunderbolt 3 傳輸線（0.8公尺），定價 1190 元，傳輸速度比Thunderbolt 2 快上 1 倍，最多同時可串聯 6 部 Thunderbolt 3 裝置。
電力傳輸以及價格上略勝一籌
蘋果在官網新增一條 Apple 自家的 Thunderbolt 3 雙向功能傳輸線，比 Belkin Thunderbolt 3 在電力傳輸以及價格上略勝一籌。Apple 自家的 Thunderbolt 3 最高可達 40 Gbps 的速度傳輸資料，10 Gbps的USB 3.1 Gen 2數據傳輸、DisplayPort 視訊輸出 （HBR3）和高達 100W 的充電功率、另外最多還可以串接 6 部 Thunderbolt 3 裝置。目前僅出 0.8 公尺的長度，在台灣官網售價 1190 元。
▲Thunderbolt 3 傳輸接頭跟 Type-C 一樣，但功能卻大不相同，Mac 上的 Type-C 插頭不全然都有 Thunderbolt 功能喔，目前只有 MacBook Pro、新 iMac、iMac Pro 上的 Type-C 插頭具備 Thunderbolt 傳輸功能，購買配件前請務必確認設備是否支援Thunderbolt
